- provide our service to you. This includes for example registering your account; providing you with other products and services that you have requested; providing you with promotional items at your request and communicating with you in relation to those products and services; communicating and interacting with you; carrying out therapeutic coaching and offering support and advice when required (Private 1-1 Clients only); and notifying you of changes to any services.
- enhance your customer experience;
- fulfil an obligation under law or contract;
We use your Personal Data on legitimate grounds and/or with your Consent.
On the grounds of entering into a contract or fulfilling contractual obligations, we Process your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- to identify you;
- to provide you a service or to send/offer you a product or service;
- to communicate either for sales or invoicing;
On the ground of legitimate interest, we Process your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- to send you offers we think you might be interested in;
- to administer and analyse our client base (purchasing behaviour and history) in order to improve the quality, variety, and availability of products/ services offered/provided;
- to conduct questionnaires concerning client satisfaction;
As long as you have not informed us otherwise, we consider offering you products/services that are similar or same to your purchasing history and behaviour to be our legitimate interest.
With your consent we Process your Personal Data for the following purposes:
- to send you newsletters and campaign offers;
- for other purposes we have asked your consent for;
- (Private 1-1 Clients only) In order to give professional therapeutic coaching and advice, I need to gather and retain information about your health and wellbeing. This is provided to me directly by you via information and health questionnaire forms you have submitted securely online. The lawful basis for which I hold and use this information is Legitimate Interest, in order to provide you with the best possible service relating to your health. Because I hold what is classed as special category information, i.e., health related, the Additional Condition under which I hold and use this information is for me effectively to fulfil my role as a healthcare practitioner.
We Process your Personal Data in order to fulfil obligation rising from law and/or use your Personal Data for options provided by law. We reserve the right to anonymise Personal Data gathered and to use any such data. We will use data outside the scope of this Policy only when it is anonymised. We save your billing information and other information gathered about you for as long as needed for accounting purposes or other obligations deriving from law.
We might process your Personal Data for additional purposes that are not mentioned here, but are compatible with the original purpose for which the data was gathered. To do this, we will ensure that:
- the link between purposes, context and nature of Personal Data is suitable for further Processing;
- the further Processing would not harm your interests and
- there would be appropriate safeguard for Processing.
We will inform you of any further Processing and purposes.
How we store your personal information
- We do our best to keep your Personal Data safe. We use safe protocols for communication and transferring data (such as HTTPS). We use anonymising and pseudonymising where suitable. We monitor our systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.
- Private client records are kept in the original format in a secure filing system, to which only I have access, or in electronic format, together with emails, where applicable, which are kept securely on a password protected personal computer, or password protected device such as a mobile phone or tablet to which only I have access. I will keep this information for a period of a minimum of seven years after your last session, as required by my insurers, after which I will destroy your records securely unless there is a legitimate need to keep them longer. I am committed to ensuring the confidentiality, safety, and security of your personal information and have put appropriate technical and physical safeguards in place to do so.
- Even though we try our best we cannot guarantee the security of information. However, we promise to notify suitable authorities of data breaches. We will also notify you if there is a threat to your rights or interests. We will do everything we reasonably can to prevent security breaches and to assist authorities should any breaches occur.
- If you have an account with us, note that you have to keep your username and password secret.
We will not share your information with any other organisations or individuals.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting susan@officialsusanmurray.com.

Important Information for Private 1-1 Clients
If during our sessions, if I have cause to become seriously concerned for your health and wellbeing to the extent that I believe you may be at risk of harming yourself or others I have a duty of care to take the following action:
Alert you of my concerns.
I may need to inform a suitable healthcare provider or person in authority.
